Cheng Brier House

This home in Tiburon, CA, captures the dramatic views of the bay and the spirit of the hillside through a series of cascading terraces. Each living space unfolds another aspect of the view and the large decks and cantilever terraces invite one to locate everyday living activities outdoors. A waterfall feature flows through the home, beginning at the entry and narrowing to a channel as water shimmers through living areas and out into the swimming pool. The material palette elegantly combines bright white stucco with a natural teak screen and grey limestone to bring together the aspirations of modern living with the character of the trees and rocks on the property.
